MapleStory Classic World players planning their next few months should separate confirmed content from dates shown on the event roadmap. Checking MapleStory Global Mesos won't resolve that distinction: Forgotten Hollow is confirmed for November, but its November 18 date has not been confirmed in the written notes. Plan around the region's arrival without treating that specific day as final.
Pick the right level for Forgotten Hollow
The new region is designed for monsters from level 39 to 59, making it relevant to characters who are approaching or already within that range. The story also begins at level 39, so players below that point can focus on reaching the entry requirement rather than assuming the quest line is immediately available.
Once eligible, visit Grendel the Really Old in Ellinia and start Welcome to the Hollow. The region can be reached through the Tree Dungeon near Ellinia or from deep inside Sleepywood. A dedicated return scroll provides a route back to the fairy town, which is useful to remember when deciding how to leave and return.
The area moves from a fairy sanctuary near the surface into a darker section affected by a corrupted tree. A Manji and Night Lord storyline was teased at the event, but its details remain limited. Rotten Mushmom is also planned as a field boss; without encounter details, there is no basis for choosing a specific preparation strategy.
Use the seasonal quest before the region opens up
Moon Bunny's Rice Cake gives lower-level players a party quest option starting at level 11. That's ten levels earlier than the entry requirement for the Kerning City Party Quest, so it offers a group activity for players who aren't ready for Kerning yet.
The Thanksgiving event is scheduled for mid-November through early December, but no exact closing date has been announced. If it fits your character's level and you want to play it with a group, don't assume it will remain available for the entire month. Its temporary schedule matters more than treating it as a permanent alternative.
Save group plans for the December update
The roadmap places guilds on December 9, with creation in Lith Harbor rather than Ossyria. That location removes the need to travel to Orbis just to form a guild. The initial version is set to include guild creation and custom guild marks; guild houses are only a possible future expansion, not a feature to expect on that date.
A Forgotten Hollow party quest is also planned for December 9, with entry starting at level 41. It continues the region's story, so players who want to join should account for both the level requirement and the time available to explore after the November opening. Happyville and Christmas events are scheduled for the same day, giving groups several activities to consider.
Keep longer-term progression plans flexible
The team is developing Classic World's first raid boss, but it has no release date. Orbis, El Nath, and third job advancement were held back from launch for gradual reworking and introduction. A third job test server is planned for 2027, while participation details have not been published.
Forgotten Hollow appeared in the first closed test in April 2026 before being held back from the full launch. That earlier appearance establishes its development history, but it doesn't confirm any unreleased encounter details or change the need to check the final schedule.
For your next session, check your character's level and decide which upcoming activity actually fits it. If you're considering cheap MapleStory Classic World Mesos, keep that separate from the confirmed entry requirements and wait for firmer dates before arranging a group around a specific release day.
